KRAV MAGA

Self Defence Skills For All

Krav Maga is a form of self Defense designed to be easy to learn. Many off the techniques work off the body’s natural reflexes, and it is effective for both men and women enabling you to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Krav Maga History

Krav Maga was founded by Hungarian Israeli martial artist Imi Lichtenfeld and preserved to the current day by his highest ranked pupil Eyal Yanilov and Krav Maga Global (KMG),

Krav Maga, "contact combat “or “close combat” in Hebrew, is a self-defence system initially developed in the 50s for the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) and in later 70s also introduced to civilians.

Imi Lichtenfeld, the Founder of Krav Maga, was primarily a boxer and wrestler, who gained very valuable street-fighting experience while defending the Jewish quarter against Fascist groups in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, during the 1930s. Like most martial arts, Krav Maga constantly evolves, thus giving its practitioners useful knowledge, skills, and solutions to modern type of threats and attacks.

Krav Maga is not intended to be a martial art and is not considered as such. In addition to incorporating techniques from many existing martial arts such as boxing, wrestling, karate, aikido, and judo, it also developed its own style.

Krav Maga is a survival system rather than a codified martial art that's governed by rules and ceremonies.
